Veterinary Technician - Vet in Chatham

We are looking for a person to fill our Vet Tech/Assistant position. We are looking for a motivated person who is hardworking and willing to tackle the physical, mental and emotional aspects of this job. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Flexibility is a plus.

This is a full-time position with duties that include:

Animal Restraint
Client Communication
Filling Medications
Identifying parasites via microscope
General Cleaning
Patient Monitoring

Veterinary Technician

Proven work experience as a technician or similar role
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. Idexx blood machines or Cornerstone platform)
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer service attitude
High school degree; additional certifications are always a plus
